IDF is now operating way out of the UNDOF buffer zone. They are approaching Damascus.
Are they trying to capture it to install someone? I doubt they could occupy Damascus and hold it for a long time, the population is potentially hostile (tho they might be exhausted from a long drawn civil war, but give it a few years, perhaps months).
They are moving along the Lebanese border on difficult hilly terrain and seemingly ignoring the lowland where rolling on would be easier. Are they wanna control the Lebanese border? Cut the M2 highway NW Damascus?
