Why Europeon countries doesn't learn from the war?
The war shows that mass produced cheap weapons are the most effective. Drones, barreled artillery, multiple rocket launchers, FABs. Even Javelins and Stingers and other manpads. Su-24 is an age old plane model great for delivering the stupid bombs, and the most modern tanks' life expectancy can be just as short as any Ruski T-series tank. Bradleys are great too.
Sure AA platforms cannot be called cheap and has major role like other not so easily produced stuff such as EW.
Still over 9001 generation airplanes and tanks, sophisticated bluetooth delivered rocket artillery, whatever. Expense go up, issue number down. I mean it's good to use them to reach that 2% target spending (5% by now???) but it won't help out Ukraine, or build up that force some EU bureaucrats like to blab about.
I'm guessing they don't really want to help Ukraine or have that Grand Europeon Army.
Another possibility that came to mind: what if they the governments of these countries are shitscared of getting couped.
I also wonder what advice the US gives to her clients about this.
