Some ruckus in the media, the Ukrainians attacked some target with drones/rockets and interrupted the oil supply via the Friendship oil pipeline to Hungary and Northern Hungary.
Earlier, perhaps in 2024 but could be in first quarter of 2025, they also targeted facilities of the Turkish Stream - a gas pipeline where we get our gas from Russia.
And even the only lasting effect of the Kursk operation was the destruction of the metering station of the Brotherhood pipeline, you guessed it, transporting the LNG to us.
Hungary gives humanitarian aid to Ukraine, we care for their refugees, build schools and medical facilities.
Orbán indeed allows all the sanctions against Russia to happen, allows the money and weapons to flow into Ukraine. In fact the armaments produced on Hungary, in the recently built factories, some of those are sent to Ukraine too.
The "ceasfire first" idea which is now a major talking point of Zelensky was used by Orbán since the start of the war.
So despite all this, Ukrainians strike on stuff that important for Hungarian interests. Quite curious.
