Aragchi had talks in Qatar today. He sure travel a lot.
Trump tweeted that he talked with everyone in the region (except Iran) and things go well and soon everything be all right. He also said often recently that Iran can't have nuclear weapon - seems to agree with the Iranian position which is the same since forever, and they always say the same.
I don't know if US troop buildup continues or not. UAE seemed to decide not to remain passive subject of Iranian attacks if the conflict heats up but directly aligned themselves with Israel and the US. Since the other side of the strait is their land, they could be an important springboard to whatever the Washington wants to do there if they want to do anything.
I don't think Trump is enthusiastic about doing anything more.
If the bombing campaign had been so successful then they would not have resorted to the blockade and if the blockade had been showing more success then they would have start with that instead of the bombings.
Generating popular revolt failed, no guerilla warfare by separatist, and they did not launched punctuated military attacks either. At this point they are running out of the foreign policy tools.
Trump tweeted the Persuasion policy of Obama was shit, and frankly the Containment did nothing, this is why he started the bombings.
Basically three path remains:
1. continue Containment, giving up, moving on
2. Engagement, free Iran from the shackles of Containment and treat them as any normal state
3. launch an Invasion.
