yeah i suspect that was part of the problem
she had dropped to dangerously low weights recently
when the doctor is telling you you havent been taking care of yourself and that your condition is worse than you thought, and you've dropped a lot of weight to me its logical that hes basically saying stop starving yourself
when you deprive your brain of nutrients, any injury or physical issue you have is going to be exaggerated and recovery will take longer
good on her parents for making her do the right thing and not letting her go back immediately
