Actually I've checked and it's supposedly 5.56b internet users (that's probably a big assumption though, I highly doubt it's 5.56b of daily users) which Altman literally claims to have 10% of the TOTAL internet user population to use his service at least WEEKLY. AND he says it's growing rapidly.
I can imagine some people using the api extensively but they are not dumb enough to program in "Thank you" responses. The only people that would be doing that is casual users.
