thats not what I meant, I think some people buy the thin metal rods, spin it around something to create a spring-like coil and then cut the rings out by one by one
I found a chick on tiktok making her wedding dress in chainmail and she's been at it for 4 months now (2nd tok is at 3 months of progress) and she's gotten quite far so maybe it'll be faster than expected
anyways, I think you should do it, its a cool thing
