Well, they are converting them and it's staggered somehow so I do get how that happens, the original method of getting HD toks were just a hack that downloaded the original file they keep on the server.
As in they don't provide those files normally because they're too big but keep them for whatever reason. Anyway it's stupid and dumb but I don't think we'll be able to do anything about it for a while, might as well get whatever is available.
