Depending on the age I wouldn't, I've waited till the last minute and now I'm thinking wtf I'm gonna do since my steam authenticator was on my old phone (also the data recovery will be a big ass mess). 
Honestly if it's like 5 years old I would just bite the bullet, it's not gonna live much longer anyway and be usable.

Youtube will only show you on your "For You" the content you actually watch. If you want to see your subscriptions you gotta go into the sub tab and you have to have actually toggled the "show all" on the drop down menu of the sub icon of a youtuber.
