Pretty sure Gothic series is actually good, they got really really good rep in Poland, partly because the game is not that bad, partly because the voiceover was really well done. I think I've played a little bit of Risen a few years after it came out but it just didn't want to run on my computer back then, dunno if it's any good but maybe?
