Took the bus down to Eastbourne. I'd heard this was just a crappier version of Brighton, but I'm quite fond of it so far. The same warm, pretty, just slightly too windy beaches as Brighton, but with a quarter of the people and a median age of 55. Very comfy. Relaxing. Should have made my base here and done Hastings during the day rather than vice versa.
