Generally... Doesn't really matter.
Specifically: You want to do workouts that push you as hard as you can get pushed, with focus on hitting around 4-12 reps and around 3-5 sets. You should hit failure on your last 2-3 sets (a bunch of boring stuff about how muscles grow, if you wanna I can tell you more). That's about what's settled for general strength training. 
BUT... If you just wanna fuck around and don't care too much it's fine to do whatever you feel like is good for you. Any workout is good.
