This is a better thing to do, the end of the year is just an arbitrary date set by mankind anyway. I'd even say having it in the middle of winter is kind of a bummer, winter sucks. Imagine if the new year was in the summer, when life is blooming, the sun is shine and things are wonderful.

Southern Hemisphere polsters really have it easy by having winter in summer.
