In particular, I've been scraping with my IP for ages now and tiktok does not care one bit about me it seems, but I have not been using my cookies too much if at all.
On the other hand my firefox refuses to load the tiktok site for a while now and it mostly coincided with me beginning my en-masse scraping endavour. I am not logged in there though.
Also  >>/9885/ neko is right in so far as it scrapes through tikwm, but it also grabs the actual videos from the tiktok like tikwm does so most of the data is actually coming from tiktok. It's just that tikwm has access to the direct video links that you want and nobody wants to share the knowledge of how to get.
That's at least accurate for the python version but really, why would he run completely different code for the browser extension? (the answer is he most probably does not)
