Not really, like I can do cardio that will be on the higher end of heart bpm for half an hour and not make myself feel like shit from it. Of course if you're pushing cardio that's not good enough, but I don't care about that because cardio is a gains goblin and everyone knows that.

IMO everything that burns calories and isn't done in express purpose of growing muscles is pretty much cardio. So I guess going outside to throw out the trash is also cardio, even if it's really bad at being cardio, as opposed to doing like 30 pushups or something, which is just kind of bad.
You can of course combine cardio and hypertrophy and there's plenty of leeway when building muscle early on but I'm talking generally.
