If you truly require theological interpretation of the universe to comprehend it, here it is: Creation is a manifestation of creation itself, and destruction manifests within it as a form of it.
In Abrahamic terms, this would be translated as: The world is the creation of god, and the Devil manifests within it for God to balance it out.
