> But in a little while Darkness came settling down on part [of it], awesome and gloomy, coiling in sinuous folds, 3 so that methought it like unto a snake. 4

> And then the Darkness changed into some sort of a Moist Nature

Gannon's purple substance that covers the landscape is called malice, and it's described as corrupted pools of water. The Hermetica says malice is the nourishment of the earth. The corrupted water is a reference to the Hermetica's dark moisture. Gannon is the dark moisture smothering out the light.

Calamity Gannon's four phantoms are the four elements; fire, water , earth, air. He has a third eye in the center of his head.

The Vah Naboris "camel" Divine Beast has Moloch horns. the victory scene shows it turning it's horns out into a bull shape. Camels don't have horns like that.

However, all of this preparation proved to be in vain, as Calamity Ganon was prepared for Hyrule's attempt to repeat history; he sent four phantoms of himself, Waterblight, Windblight, Fireblight and Thunderblight Ganon, to corrupt the Divine Beasts and slay their Champions, while using his own dark power to take control of the Guardians and use them against the people of Hyrule.
