The characters gold symbolic leg poses in some scenes, especially when they fall down. I see V compass, and 90* square formations being held. I think Pokemon is packed with color/element symbolism. The three great birds are fire, ice, and lightning. I can't find that that's a religious, or occult combo, but it's a common TV trope apparently.
