Here's some interesting reading, and pics on the Arbiter's Ground symbolism. The Sand Goddess statue has a snake coiled around it.

The Goddess of the Sand is an utter enigma. We truly know nothing of her, except that she is, potentially, a deity of the world respected by the Gerudo. Her presence is rare within Hyrule, and seems to be connected only to the Gerudo people. The religious practices surrounding her are non-existent within the Legend of Zelda mythos, and her function in these holy spaces is all but unknown. Yet, because statues of her exist within both the Spirit Temple and the Arbiter’s Grounds, people jump to make a connection that is all-but-absolute within their heads that the two are one.

Twilight Princess had the kabbalah tree of life on some architecture, and had kabbalah like light vessels. The Faron Forest spirit is an enlightened monkey, like in Journey to the West.

Faron is seemingly meant to look like a monkey, a squirrel or a lemur.
Faron's name is a reference to the golden goddess, Farore.

The Spirits of Light were set to Hyrule to contain the light that sustains it. When Link restores the light to the Lanayru Province, Lanayru tells the legend of the Twili. Long ago, a tribe of Dark Interlopers who excelled in the dark magical arts tried to establish dominion over the Sacred Realm in order to gain the power of the Triforce. However, the Golden Goddesses asked three of the Spirits of Light to intervene. The spirit of Ordona was not included due to it not being part of Hyrule proper.[3] The Spirits of Light sealed away the tribe's magic into the Fused Shadow and the interlopers were chased across Hyrule into the Gerudo Desert. It was then the tribe was banished into the Twilight Realm by the Gods at Arbiter's Grounds to be sealed away forever.[4] However, the Gods left one link between the two worlds, the Mirror of Twilight, which was to be guarded by six Sages.[5]

During the game, Link must rid the land of Hyrule from the Twilight by restoring the Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru Spirits of Light through collecting Tears of Light scattered across each province. The Spirits of Light prove essential in Link and Midna's quest to find the Fused Shadows, as only they have knowledge of where these objects are located. The Spirits of Light also appear in the final battle against Ganondorf as they combine their powers to create the Light Arrows. After Ganondorf is defeated, they appear before Link and Zelda, seemingly having resurrected Midna.

The Spirits of Light disappeared after their roles were fulfilled.

https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Vessel_of_Light

The Vessel of Light is an item in Twilight Princess.[1] It is a container which is used to collect and hold Tears of Light.

When the Provinces of Hyrule were pulled into Twilight, the Tears of Light were stolen from the Spirits of Light by the Shadow Insects. Thus, the Spirits of Lights of each Province ask Link to gather them all in the Vessel of Light to restore light to the area.

The Vessel of Light does not stay in Link's item inventory; instead, every time Link visits a new province, he must talk to its respective Light Spirit to obtain a new Vessel of Light and thus be able to collect the Tears of Light. Each Vessel can hold up to 16 Tears of Light, which is the same amount Link must find in each province. In Twilight Princess HD, Link must only collect 12 Tears of Light.

There are three provinces where Link must collect the Tears of Light. Within those provinces, Link must explore its various areas to find all of the Tears.
