As I'm sure you were never instructed in any history course, there Rheinwiesenlager (Rhineland) camps existed for German soldiers and civilians directed by Eisenhower to purposely withhold rations. Unlike the camps engineered by Germans, which will be covered later, Americans' camps provided Germans with no shelter.
