On Monday, February 12, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the Syrian airfield “Shayrat” is preparing UAV operators for war against Ukraine.

According to the GUR, Russian operators of Iranian-made drones are trained by instructors from the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

It is reported that the Russian military in “Shayrat” is trained to control the UAV Shahed-136, Ababil-3 and Raad.

The name of the commander of Hezbollah, responsible for the training of the Russian military, is Kamal Abu Sadiq.

It is noted that along with the Russian military, Syrian mercenaries are being trained, who are planned to be sent to war against Ukraine as UAV operators.
