Between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. (Yemen’s time zone) on February 22, U.S. aircraft and the French Republic frigate FREMM shot down six Iranian-backed Houthis unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Red Sea.

Later, between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m., the Houthis fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles from southern Yemen toward the Gulf of Aden. The missiles hit MV Islander, a UK-owned Palau-flagged cargo ship, leaving one person with minor injuries. The ship continues its voyage.
