At first there was a euphoria from the contrast in comparison with the rashka, then melancholy attacked because of the need to change all your habits, adjust to the situation and look for work. It’s a time of crisis, finding a high-paying job without American experience is hard. The American experience is now found in about six months. Fully low-paid, where the majority are Ukrainians on U4U and other migrants without green.
There are plenty of opportunities even in a crisis, but they all take time to enter a new area.
For example, you can go for an internship as an electrician, starting income from 20 bucks per hour. But you will become a full-fledged electrician only after 4 years of such an internship, but you will receive about 100 bucks per hour.

People are the same everywhere, adjusted for the cultural code. In this respect, most Americans are better than most Russians, but still come across inadequate and other fucking ovulaks. If you work in the service sector, for example, in a store, where most people go, because they are easily and quickly taken without experience, you will feel all this. A separate category is Hindus. It feels like there are more of them than Latinos. They come with their faggot mentality and rarely try to assimilate. But it depends on the location, how often you will meet them.

I rent a room for about 30 percent of my income, and about 20 percent goes to food. The current job is exhausting. The vast majority of my colleagues are recent immigrants. I’m looking for something better on those rare days when I have the strength to do it, like today.
