On behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service will monitor the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel at gas stations.

The purpose of the measure is to prevent prices from rising above the level of inflation. The decision was made at a meeting with the participation of representatives of key departments and organizations. The main topic of discussion was the current situation in the oil products market.
