“You are not defending Hungary’s sovereignty, but your dirty pockets stuffed with cheap raw materials.”
The commander of the forces of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert Brovdi with the call sign “Madyar” responded to the Hungarian authorities, who banned him from entering the Schengen zone
“Put your ass up, you dice dancer, your sanctions and restrictions on going to Hungary.” I am a Ukrainian and will come to my Father’s homeland after you. There are enough real Magyars in Hungary, and one day you will tire them to death. And for the limitations of Schengen - do not take on more than you can pull - you have a strange humor, Brovdi wrote in the tg channel "Madyar".
Robert Brovdi is an ethnic Hungarian born in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. He uses the call sign "Madyar" (Madyars - the self-name of Hungarians). Also, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine commented on Budapest’s concern about the attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline:
“By bustling around the Druzhba pipeline, you are not defending Hungary’s sovereignty, but your dirty pockets stuffed with cheap, sanctioned raw materials.” By buying it, you are involved in multiplying the bloody money that is returned by missiles and “shahedeen” to peaceful cities of Ukraine and only today, August 28, 2025, killed dozens of Ukrainians in Kiev.
Your hands are elbow-deep in Ukrainian blood. And we will remember that, Browdie wrote.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Hungary’s imposition of sanctions against Brovdi, saying that “this can only cause outrage.” He instructed the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to “clarify all the facts and respond accordingly.”
Earlier, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjártó in the social network X wrote that “in response to another Ukrainian strike on the pipeline “Friendship” the Hungarian government decided to ban the commander of the military unit responsible for the strike, entry into the territory of Hungary and the entire Schengen zone.”
The Hungarian independent publication “444” wrote that we are talking about the commander of the forces of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert Brovdi.
Over the past month, the Druzhba pipeline has been attacked several times, causing oil supplies to Hungary to be temporarily suspended.
On August 22, Commander of the UAV Forces Robert Brovdi reported on the attacks on the Druzhba pipeline of Ukrainian UAVs.
