FAKE. The cost of food in the United States has been going up since the 1960s.

Real food is very expensive in the US today unless you buy cheap chemical laced junk food which is full of sugar and toxic chemicals. 

Otherwise meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, dairy is all very expensive today. On average I spend around $180 for food and it lasts me and my family one week.
