One argument against  >>/11318/ is a religious one. Various religions state that the human soul and the human body is like sacred and should not be destroyed or desecrated. Opposite of the sci-fi idea that a human mind could be switched to a digital medium then that would be the exact same person. Or, religious arguments that humanity and how they lived for centuries is fine, they just have to pray/worship harder or whatever.
