wow,  forget how much of oldfags we are to endchan. Classics like /AM/, /ggrevolt/, and /librejp/ are either completely or mostly dead or gone. Even /kc/ seems to be limping a bit as of late.

Crappy Ideapad is my main computer right now. I just don't have much of a need for anything better. Use Linux Mint 80% of the time, Windows only because of the software that remains locked in with it.

Don't want to pry into the details of your life but I can't help but be curious. You always seem to be stuck between poorly maintained crap and some more novel solutions. You don't strike me as someone who hoards tech just for fun. Like your life is both hard and complicated and you had to get used to getting by with weird stuff.
