So, there is this thing. Though I have only taken a brief peak around, from what I have seen and the words of a friend, everywhere from twitter to the old online bastions are filled with significant and understandable skepticism to this project. My skepticism is medium high. I mean

Those two factors enough mean there is a pretty high chance of it being corporate and soulless in a way that probably would merit Generation 5 an apology or two from some of it's more radical haters. We are so early in development though it could easily get canned at some point depending on events in the world. 

Another big factor: China, might loom large on this. I keep hearing about how big the fandom is there. I wonder if things would be made to be geared towards that too? Only issue is the increasingly tumultuous relationship between China and the United States has kind of made the "bet big on China" model a risky proposition compared to even 5 or 6 years ago.
