Agreed. I don't know if the worst case scenario is some sort of ponies in earth setting or humans in Equestria filled with uncanny CGI that may or may not be cartoonish whimsical or channeling the "live action" Lion King adaption.

I think China has a small, small sliver of a chance of making the movie less bad, but them jumping through hoops to look good/get past the censors in the Chinese market probably would digest me.

I am officially in wait till I know more but 95% chance I think it's going to be something of the above and thus in a similar boat.
