> As an admin I can look at posts by date, and bumplocked or saged they show up in order, but to visitors it would look like no one is showing up.
Bleh. That is annoying. Does this affect new threads?
> On mlpol I've been toying with joining a play-by-post DnD game but the rules are really vague and no one actually knows what race stats they're using, only that flying is pretty much disallowed.
I don't do a lot of RP, but I know this feeling of groups that are annoyingly vague. A lot of rules being unwritten and certain people either mesh well with them or not. I also have been dealing with minor disaster in a non-functional computer and the password booklet I used most having disappeared, can't test anything with my board vole position at the moment. I still have the password for here though.
> So long story shorter, it feels like the internet is dead to me even though everyone else is having a loud, normal time.
Similar feelings. I've been looking around at some other chan boards, forums and other places. Most are dead or feel dysfunctional with people I suspect I wouldn't get along with well. Social media I have done more limited scouting but I feel the same with it as I do with above. I suspect part of it for me is that I am not "wired" for this age well. It honestly almost feels like that my ideal space would have to be a place that is /built/ and that would require a lot more in the OC department. Maybe that can be done here, but I really need to make sure some bunker is established because everything feels rather fragile. I'll tell if you I find any spaces that are functional with decentish cultures.
