eeyup, it was made in 2012 and it hasn´t been revived until now with the featured image of Derpibooru. It´s funny because they say in the comments that it was uploaded in Ponibooru first and then, it was ignored in Derpi. From 40 or 50 to more than a thousand upvotes. That makes a big difference, so expect to see it more frequently in the /sun/ threads during this year than in 2012. The fandom has so much content that it doesn´t realize the lost gems hidden out there. 
Hell, the edit thread was made for some image to have a little spotlight or a 2nd chance even if it´s an artificial boost that is yet to be found. Almost 2 million pictures in Derpi.... phew
