> I didn´t look for the ending so quickly, just a full exposition of what´s presented over here. A slice of life show is absolute filler but that filler contains details that you have to keep an eye on and judge them as if it´s somewhat critical to the story.
I think this fic feels like hat you have learned from writing most of the previous fics. It may not be the most unique of your's but it certainly blows th others out of simple technical execution.
> it´s reverse politics. Instead of trying to convey a political message, I am putting a political related experience that affected psychologically to the writer. It´s trendy to use media trying to fit for some agenda and ruin a cartoon/movie but here, you have to decompress it and fit in with other elements, context, lore, character..
I think that works for the best. Almost cosmically funny how close yet far it is from politics. It was the effect of politics on you, without an angenda.
> Also, I wanted to filter politics and make the board a little bit more pony related, I was getting a bit sick of that topic and not facing the real deal.
I was and especially now am sick of politics the whole supreme court nomination fight got so so so bad that I stopped keeping track, don't even touch U.S political news right now for your sanity That atmosphere feels a lot better here since the latest episodes (even from what I've seen even more gloomier parts of our fadom seem a bit happiner, though I haven't been super active in lurking around).
> So here it is with a very different cover.....and meaning, maybe.
You turned it from political back to personal with this, something that gets striped away by the very nature of politics.

> I am just used to writing the royalties because they hold a more adult theme behind them I can channel easier than the usual characters.
> yep, exactly. A bit in the middle between the writer and the character, considering that the narration is in 1st person. I cannot expose myself too much but I struggle to put her chill personality into this story.
For as much as you were channeling yourself, you sure wrote the dialog well to the characters. That first bit there could fit right in the show. I think you did an alright job with Celestia considering the subject mater.
> like one would say about MILFs: ratings ain´t nothing but a number. I prefer commenting about it, impressions about what parts are right, wrong and so on. If you just said, 9/10 or 0/10 in the reply, I would have found it really boring and short to have an idea.
Agreed

> This is why Luna doesn´t have this problem and Celestia does. Celestia has hidden that infamous form longer and less noticeable than Luna´s case, so the problem is just postponed
Interesting perspective. Celestia is not nessinarily stronger to the temptation but better at suppressing it (if that makes sense).
> Meanwhile, Luna has dealt with her enitre mind/body so her willful transformation means that she is able to do it without sacrificing a single bit from herself. In short, Nightmare Moon exists as long as Luna wants to make her a reality.
I could run my self in loops thinking about Luna and Nightmare moon. Personally I lean to a similarly that NM ad Luna are indeed one, though some things both in the show contradict each other. Heck, Friendship is Magic and Lunar Eclipse even do if we take Luna's transformation at face value. The things that gives me a bit of pause and prevents me from just dismissing theoies is that, for all the changes is i writers and it being a show aimed for little kids originally, there was still things that were done with a certain intent and meaning, even in season 1. Though I especially take seriously is one off remarks and background gags from season 4, that being there most well season 8 may bring that logic back lore building towards something and hard cannon season. Doesn't mean everything was purposeful and many fans push theories into stupid territory (remember Fluttershy is pregnant with Discords child?), but it sti
