That increase of fanatism is what the public can extract out of them and why they are united more than ever in using its religion for everything. If you check their galleries besides their anthro stuff, see how they draw ponies, they are less likely to fail at drawing them. I am not personally an expert nor too dedicated into it until this discussion happened but for what I consider good under my eyes, those artists don´t tend to draw awful material. Also, keep in mind that we have shitposted ships, anthro and a few image macros. We should be placed at the peak of autism if we were living in the late 00s. I'd say I'm mixed on that claim. some things thrive from some sex appeal, but some things clearly died from doing the same moves. I don´t have any examples for the comic attempts. However, I do know that the Disgagea series has kept a certain popularity among weebs, and one of the main reasons is that Etna, who´s a succubus and shares a few similarities to a loli body, has always appeared on the banners of 4chan. Certainly an attractive charismatic character to shill about the series. To a lesser extent, I think Shantae benefited out of those people who considered her as an attractive character and get enough popularity to make a bit of noise with her recent games and keep a niche public over the years. About my previous posts, I was mostly referring to marketing moves for fragrances ads whose attractive people don´t correlate that much to the product itself and a consumer doesn´t think about those actors when it comes to buying said products.
