putting it in context, this is more of an European problem. Not to mention that we are facing the EU elections this weekend.

In order to understand these thoughts, I am implying that he is subtly showing signs of tiredness of the correct discourse that mainly comes from France and Germany. The rise of the ""far-right"" comes from tired people whose voices aren´t heard because of excessive bureaucracy and menacing the countries for not following the intended agendas of certain unrepresented people who decide the future in the obscurity without asking in the main camera.

So it means that if centrist people don´t focus on the actual problems that actually matter from the root and still follow the correct discourse, the voters will pick a more radical party that gives them a voice because of desperation. Those parties will have actual revenge discourses despite people not wanting that...but as a balance of the correct discourse, they will gain success.

This is why I say that I prefer the conservative wave (called alt-right in the press) having a counter voice to challenge them and change the direction. I prefer them sooner than later because of this, the US politically correct discourse from the socialdemocrats isn´t welcome anymore and has run out of fuel/arguments. The faster one realizes about this, the better so it will prevent the Europeans from voting more radical parties.

This might be (again, I am interpreting his words) the reason why you are not getting it.
