Destroying the entire board shouldn´t be an option nor deleting threads that were created long ago (a week or so). This should be reported either in your project or in /operate/ so if one board has kept a permanent status, doesn´t have the chance to be deleted so easily. The culture gets demolished and the site itself loses a potential appeal for more traffic.
