Sometimes the conversations between the invited ones might reward you more than expected. I agree. I fact, though I do not know to what degree, I think our fandom has a chance to become something longer term and a bit more intimate with those who stay. I find this lull between G5 to be possibly an opportunity. I'm not saying I'm a blind optimist or that everything will be exactly the same level of activity, but I don't think things will just die, changes and... I guess I applied the lesson of the final didn't I? /)
