A post-truth that makes the mirage bigger than the actual image. But, said image could be either fake or eventually real. Playing around with a grey area that people cannot point at anything in specific but at the same time, said mirage has to exist in order to make it look more solid than it is. Artists will voluntarily decide how to shape it in the end. By making these uploads, it´s like the equivalent of requesting something with a commission...but I am not asking for anything in specific other than the species itself. Therefore, artists don´t know what I am asking for except undefined ways that they decide to deliver on their own. Now, let´s take a little break for the reader. Think about all of this. ... Ready? Well, then you should have had enough time for raising one question: Derpibooru has uploaders that do the same tasks. How is this supposedly any different? And that´s where the ""magic"" starts. It doesn´t simply come from the fact of gathering underground pictures that are left behind among the crowded number of pictures displayed on Deviantart. It doesn´t simply consist in picking up the works from an artist who has been unaware of the existence of Derpibooru for distributing the images. It doesn´t simply deal with the fact that I have had to check every single image with the Reverse Search feature so it could be approved by the site staff without merging both the original upload with the new one (it doesn´t add up anything for the tag number) ... It ALSO tackles another aspect that people tend to overlook: the tagging system. For every single image, I mean almost (if not) all of them, have around the range of 20-30 tags so those new images can be perfectly located and be transferred to the alternative boorus from the very beginning before exporting them. If I added the tags later on, said changes wouldn´t get exported. Thus, I have had to do all the work during the upload so those copies/imports would have them too (because it would only benefit Derpi in that case). This part is extremely important because I have seen uploads that only display the bare minimum number of tags and that makes them hard to locate in the end. The main purpose of this tagging process aims to locate them easily, increasing the chances to draw a greater amount of attention from anyone and making them easier to locate in different ways When can you notice my influence with the tags? Back in January, my first upload happened to be the Aqua Shine picture (originally uploaded in 2015 >>/7182/) but hold on, it doesn´t end up there. Not only these pictures are easier to spot, but also, it turns out that, by uploading them on Derpibooru, it draws the attention of EQD too. Not many images (out of 1000, a small fraction of them) have made the cut but for those that actually do, you would notice on the Deviantart entries how the numbers of favourites, views and comments increase because of this redistribution of content. Now, I must also mention the problems and obstacles that I have found with this project. Not everything turns out to be pure gold here and things might not get to the point that one would love to see. The river´s flow might not reach the ocean with enough force for arriving there without running into different altitudes, changes or stuff along the way.
