It would be funny if we get official adult aimed comics and storylines, I am uncertain of full adult in the same way Transformers has, but I could see them trying more stuff.

It is actually a really interesting question as they are intimately connected to the Crystal Heart and the Crystal Empire in a way that is different from the other races. Could the Crystal Empire still exist and be going with the Crystal Heart? Hey, the Crystal Heart seems to be playing a similar roll to the Crystal Ponies as the other gems, elements of harmony (?) were implied to have for the other races.

Part of me still is uncertain with these secondary races getting a answer but it would be cool if we got one.

And it seems I am in the minority on pony lisps. I will say though that I was overall impressed with some moments of the animation, just the lisps weren't one of them.
