I'm OK with this board being slow. 4chan /mlp/ was like a social media hellhole where you were incentivized to make post to prevent a thread from dying. So many bumps meant more constant engagement, lending itself to social (antisocial?) media addiction as compared to anons taking breaks of days or multiple days from whatever thread they are interested in. Old days of the Internet: people were done with the Internet for the day or some amount of days, could take longer breaks on forums instead of constant attention.
