I should reiterate very clearly the aim of "lurk moar" mantra:
We want you to be able to contribute. We don't want you to ATTEMPT to contribute without first understanding the process of this place and why we find contributions to be valuable and why we find others to be less valuable.
This is and never has been to discourage new people from coming here or contributing, but just like in any other line of work, when you start going off on your own and try to bring back useful info, you will only be ignored or reprimanded unless you follow typical protocol.
Remember, we're running an insurgency here. Respect The Truth and respect the process.
