>>/22832/ QR example thread in catalog obvious; looks like QR but says "EXAMPLE" in red over the image. see cap. On ur questions: first priority is to bake b4 dough runs out at 751-- Q bred: bake at 650 fast day bread: bake at 690-710 night bread: 720+ second priority are q posts super important super hard to do quick practice a lot you can start now using the pastebin in the example thread--i intend to brush up, i'm very rusty just pick some q posts and try it 3 formats possible: - simple - RT ("referring to") - simple or RT with link to article or tweet (take a look at the dough and see if you can puzzle how it works, if not i can say moar) third priority are notables in a q bread with fast breds, you just pick noms followed by key diggs and news items--only night shift bakers pick up deeper stuff) fourth priority is Fresh Dough link -- great to have but never gets posted in a q bread ----- OTHER STUFF On reading the posts: i try to catch up on notables from PB b4 baking next bred, makes it MUCH easier. but i don't actually read notables from bread i am baking, not in QR, just scan them, there is never time. reading the PB notables is what allows you to be fairly fast and accurate. qresear.ch: check to see if a potential notables has been NOTABLED already for anything that's not breaking news--anons HATE duplicates in notables and will call you out on them (exception: v fast day breads/q breads). Also check DATES--shills love putting in stuff from a year ago. ----- Misc: if bred is fast and anons don't provide enough info (description or sauce), it doesn't get notabled, they have to repost nb. baker isn't a miracle worker. try to communicate with anons, asking for sauce or thanking them for noms or sauce. Different from here, bc they will still be around. they appreciate this a LOT. if you communicate, they will trust & support you when it really counts. when to post notables: Post several times during the bred--you gotta get feedback from anons or they'll shred you. Different from here. Try "Anything missing, anons?" or something like that Posting varies but you could try out 200, 400, 600 and a post around 630-650 as a pre-final, where you might warn anons "baking soon" or "baking @50". In QR, notables are much shorter so anons (and you) can read them pretty quick. Most of this applies more to QR than QRB, bc of much faster breads. But the communication stuff always applies.
