MISC 8CHAN BAKING INFO:
Baker can post anything he wants on the Dough post but often he'll post something to do with baking or a meme he identifies with.
Whenever changes are made to the dough, they're tagged to the dough post including:
- bakers signing in and out
- changes to the pastebin
- notables
- note-takers signing in and out (although on QR breads, bakers take notes for almost all breads; you see note-takers only late at night, when Q is less likely to post)
Moar on the dough:
- QR doughs are always 4 pages
page 1: greetings & q posts
page 2: notables
page 3: war room
page 4: archives, tools & baking info
QRB breads can be longer bc notables go longer, as in endchan (typical breds in QRB have been 15-24 hours long during last week of August 2019).
Basic structure of the dough on both boards is quite stable; additions to Q posts & new notables (pages 1 and 2) are the main thing that changes (espec page 2 notables). Changes on pp 3 and 4 are mostly updates to links. All changes are made by bakers, not BO/BVs, but anything significant better be cleared with anons or another baker will probably revert the dough--as he should. Example: Someone tried to sub out "memes" for "dank memes" recently --eventually it was caught by an anon and baker then reverted to the original form.
This is the advantage of a dough that does not change much: many anons know how it should look and make sure it doesn't get corrupted.
Error note:
in the example dough, there's a formatting error on p 1 for the Q posts--dates are bolded, not italicized, whoops. Mistakes like this are common, bakers don't worry about them. You just correct them for the next bread. For more exotic corrections, new bakers something get help from oldfag bakers, especially when breads are fast (bc a newfag can't take notes and make corrections at the same time--hard even for someone experienced).
