But I don't think you are right about gore. When I lurked chans a long time ago it was anons who posted gore to discourage the normies from lurking (but yeah I met people who collected gore for entertainment purposes...). Loli was there from the beginning due to Japanese culture and origins and yes I agree it served as a magnet for pedos.

On the other hand I happened to read some anon post quite some time ago where a person criticized anons general attitude for their tries to silence the pedos. "Crazy man" you would say. He sounded as if he knew a bit more about pedos and criminals in general. He said that it's in the society best interest to give them a platform to speak and to encourage them to talk (like honeypots). He said that most often it was possible to rescue the children only because a pedo published a video. And by the way it's how we can learn about them more. I would disagree that it's in society best interest to give them too much voice because normal people exposed to them could try to go in their footsteps...
