I was thinking about this all morning
and generally agree
the last 3 days there has been obvious shillary
but there has also been general confusion
anons misquoting other anons as shills
BO has thought both of the bakers were shills at one point or another
posterID's would AT LEAST help to confirm anon is actually an anon
shills will IP hop, so you wont necessarily be able to positively confirm all posts made by a specific shill in the bred (ex: ebot)
example:
some post that seems like it could be an anon, but really seems like divisionfagging or some other kind of shilling
-click poster ID
-check all other posts by that ID
-ohh look at that its ebot
well now you know you dont even have to entertain the question
can just filter and scroll
alternatively:
-click poster ID
-check all other posts by that ID
-ohh look at that, its an anon who has done some heavy lifting on an important dig
well now you know you probably have an oldfag on your hands
who is merely expressing some 'tough love'
at LEAST you can be reasonably sure its an actual autist (not shill) and respond in kind
It's definitely not fool proof (ip hoping/ VPN/ Tor)
I think it would be very useful for positively confirming an autist is an autist
less useful for positively confirming a shill is a shill
(but retard shills that dont ip hop mid-bread WILL be easy to spot)
I sincerely feel this will help alleviate a lot of the confusion
the ID's for each user change every bread, so, don't see how this leads to any kind of doxxing of anons
definitely LESS SO than the enforced tripcodes do on bakers and board volunteers
defintely worthy of further discussion
