big jump in shilling from one day to the next

Jim W talking about wanting 8kun up before the election (so people can "here both sides")
 
i'm usually pretty cautious when it comes to seeing connections where none prolly exist. 
But the recent jump in shilling was pretty dramatic, espec all those posts from e-bot.  
Does it have to do with keeping 8kun offline until after next week's election? 
We'll see if VOAT goats have anything to add to the conversation.
