American History TV: Vietnam Prisoners of War 50th Reunion. Vietnam-era prisoners of war reunited at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum 50 years to the day after President and Mrs. Nixon hosted them at a 1973 White House dinner. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger addressed them by video, and the White House dinner was recreated in the library's replica East Room. The reunion dinner commemorated the 1973 signing of the Paris Peace Accords that ended the Vietnam War, and which was followed by the POWs homecoming.
