I believe Putin and Trump look for a return to separate East and West super-power nations.  Putin and Trump and Xi are doing favors for each other, within their own spheres of influence.  Putin is doing in Ukraine what Trump and Biden should not do (and the Deep State has previously done).  Xi is slowly doing in China what neither Putin nor Trump nor Biden should do.  If Xi unites China and Taiwan by ousting the CCP, I believe everyone will see "the plan" is proven.
