Reel America "Afghanistan - A New Generation" - 1987. "Afghanistan: A New Generation" is a U.S. Information Agency report from 1987 on the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan. This video from the National Archives focuses on the challenges facing Afghan refugees who were children when Soviet troops invaded the country in 1979 and grew to adulthood under Soviet occupation. The program profiles schools in refugee camps in Pakistan, activities of Mujahideen fighters, health clinics, and the efforts of aid workers from around the world.

Victims of Communism Museum Tour. American History TV toured the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, D.C., with founding director Elizabeth Spalding. The museum is within sight of the White House, and is designed to tell a story of political domination and persecution spanning more than a century and across national boundaries, from Lenin in Russia to Mao in China. Artifacts include a medical x-ray repurposed into a Beatles record in the old Soviet Union, and a transistor radio used to navigate out of communist-held Cambodia.

Watergate Prosecutorial Documents Revisited. The Federalist Society hosted a legal panel to discuss recently revealed documents used by prosecutors investigating Watergate and suspected wrongdoing by President Nixon and his administration.
