STUDENTCAM 2023 WINNER - "The Forgotten Coast"
The Forgotten Coast: The Forgotten Coast was one of the second-prize high school central division winners in C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam documentary contest. Jacob Jewekk, a senior at College Street Vocational Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana, produced his video on the 2023 theme: "If you were a newly-elected member of Congress, which issue would be your first priority and why?" The local cable provider was Optimum.
C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme.
